Kingdom of Bahrain Electricity & Water Authority – Objectives:

• Provide excellent, reliable, cost effective and quality supply of electricity and water to different sectors of consumers.
• Make plans and conduct studies to complete existing projects as well as future projects for the expansion of the Ministry's services to consumers.
• Maintain, develop and improve the existing transmission and distribution network to ensure highest standards of operational efficiency and minimum energy loss.
• Meet the Kingdoms ever increasing demands for electricity and water consumption.
• Utilize information technology and other advanced systems like Geographical Information System (GIS), Customer Services System (CSS) and Resource Planning Project to provide excellent customer services.
• Promote public awareness for conservation of electricity and water through best possible methods and tools.
• Develop employee skills by a system of on-going training programmes.
• Achieve a high degree of Bahrainisation.
